A hydrangea long past its bloom, yet still holding its shape. The skeleton of the flower remains, fragile and present at the same time.

This image was made with grief in mind. Not the sharp, sudden kind, but the quiet kind that settles in over time. The kind that finds beauty in what stays, even after the colour has gone.
