Visual Anchors for Alzheimer Care

For the Alzheimer Café, Nanda creates visual anchors that contribute to a safe and soothing environment. In a context where verbal communication can become challenging, her nature imagery offers an intuitive form of recognition and grounding. These carefully selected works help regulate sensory input and provide patients and their families with a shared moment of tranquility and emotional support.


Restorative Art in Transitional Spaces: Hoeve de Zwingel

In the family rooms of the new Hoeve de Zwingel crematorium and natural burial ground (opening 2026), Nanda’s work serves as a source of consolation during moments of farewell. A selection of works from her Stardust series was specifically chosen for these intimate spaces. These images, which explore the delicate boundary between earth and cosmos, act as 'Visual Anchors' during times of grief and transition. They offer a poetic perspective on the cycle of life, creating an atmosphere of dignity, light, and space.
