Fountain of Youth holds a special meaning for me. It captures a frozen daisy, surrounded by mirrored plants and delicate blossoms, encased in ice. I created this image during a time of grief, when everything felt suspended in time. The frozen flowers symbolize not only stillness and impermanence but also healing and resilience - the moment between freezing and thawing, between holding on and letting go.
The Healing Energy of Color
The soft green tones radiate a calming energy, offering a quiet reminder of hope and renewal. Beneath the icy surface lies a fountain of youth - a symbol of inner strength and vitality, even in life’s most fragile moments.

Fountain of Youth – Een Bevroren Moment van Kracht en Transformatie
Een symbool van verstilling en verandering
Dit werk, Fountain of Youth, heeft een bijzondere betekenis voor mij. Het toont een bevroren madeliefje, omringd door spiegelende planten en delicate bloemetjes, gevangen in ijs. Ik creëerde dit beeld tijdens een periode van rouw, een tijd waarin alles stil leek te staan. De bevroren bloemen symboliseren niet alleen die verstilling en vergankelijkheid, maar juist ook veerkracht – het moment tussen bevriezen en ontdooien, tussen vasthouden en loslaten.
De helende energie van kleur
De zachte groene tinten stralen een kalmerende energie uit, een stille herinnering aan hoop en herstel. Onder de ijzige oppervlakte schuilt een fontein van jeugd – een symbool van innerlijke kracht en vitaliteit, zelfs in de kwetsbaarste momenten van ons leven.
De schoonheid van transformatie
Terwijl het ijs langzaam smelt, ontvouwt zich een verhaal van transformatie. Het herinnert me eraan dat verandering niet iets is om bang voor te zijn, maar een natuurlijk proces van groei en hernieuwde levenskracht. Dit werk nodigt je uit om vergankelijkheid te omarmen en te vertrouwen op de kracht van transformatie. Wat bevroren lijkt, komt ooit weer tot leven.
